Bury Farm Equestrian Village is a hugely popular horse riding centre.
Home to Bury Farm Equestrian Club, the village plays host to many riding events each year, in a range of disciplines including dressage and show jumping. The equestrian village is also regularly used for events and venue hire. This meant that the lighting needed to be able to fulfil many different roles. Various solutions were chosen for the equestrian village.
i1 lights were distributed in the performance area. These high-output lights provide plenty of light for riders, trainers and horses, with even distribution, to maximise performance. As well as in the performance area, spectator sections and stables also required a lighting upgrade. i1 modules were installed, designed with dimmable movement sensors, to make significant savings on energy consumption. Downlights were also installed in the village, to provide more aesthetically pleasing lighting designs, as well as more customisable light fittings.
The i1 and HYLITE were the products chosen for the project, as they had dimmable technology. The i1had multiple colour temperatures, supplied as the standard neutral white (4000K), it could also be customised to warm white (3000K).
