West Midlands Fire Service is the third-largest fire and rescue service in the UK, their Nechells headquarters recently upgraded the existing old discharge SON fittings of the 150-space car park and rear yard to much more efficient LED technology.
The installation of high efficiency road lanterns, exterior bulkheads and floodlights provided considerable energy savings of over 50% and maintenance costs were more than halved.
