Bang & Olufsen, London

Modern display luminaires high-lighting a global brand.

Bang & Olufsen are one of the world’s leading manufacturers of Audio, visual and multimedia equipment. The latest addition to their 900, world-wide store network has been fitted out using the latest range of low-energy downlights and spotlights from Tamlite.

High quality lighting is vital in any retail environment. However, in a store with products based on their aesthetic nature and visual design, it is crucial that they are painted in the best possible light.

The solution installed at Bang and Olufsen was the HYLITE downlight. This fitting provides a focused beam angle, with the choice of an even narrower beam angle diffuser, to provide a spotlight feel. This can be used effectively to dramatically highlight particular products, or all products within the store.

HYLITE modules can be rotated or adjusted to focus on any specific area, or product. They also have an aesthetically pleasing design, and can be supplied in black or grey trim.

These lights need to be working at full power all day, to maintain the aesthetic on the products within the store. Therefore, it was vital that these downlights are efficient, due to their high output.
