Established in 1967, Tamlite Lighting has built up a reputation as a dependable lighting company for over 50 years, designing and manufacturing quality luminaires for delivery via wholesale. Tamlite is one of the largest privately-owned lighting companies in the UK, underpinned by its philosophy of Lighting for a Living.

Tamlite implemented a strategy, designed to promote its capabilities as a manufacturer of quality and ability. Tamlite’s focused product design team is dedicated to innovation and exploring optics to maximise light distribution. Over the last two years, Tamlite has built a dedicated Specification and Projects Team offering high levels of expertise for customers. In addition, Tamlite Lighting has continued its investment in UK manufacturing, from the latest technology to designing and developing its in-house PCB facility, Tamtec, producing high quality luminaires of optimum performance and efficacy. Demonstrating its commitment to quality, as an active member of the LIA, SLL and ILP, inaugural winners of the LIAQA award and ICEL accreditation, as well as BAFE accreditation.

The Tamlite evolution has been a success, winning the Lux ‘Manufacturer of the Year Award 2018’, a demonstration of outstanding UK manufacturing experience, capability and commitment to the lighting industry. Tamlite also won the Electrical Industry Awards ‘Lighting Project of the Year Award 2018’. In 2019, Tamlite was “Highly Commended” in the Lux Award ‘Lighting for a Circular Economy’ category, demonstrating the commitment to sustainability. Tamlite works with Building Service Engineers, Consultants, Lighting Designers and End Clients to help deliver the ideal lighting solutions. Tamlite is proud of its achievements in recent years, and hopes to build on the platform that it has created to develop even further.
