Vision Connect
VISION CONNECT provides a simple wired lighting control system that provides unlimited potential to co-ordinate lighting controls within a wide range of lighting installations.
Control devices can be integrated or stand alone and manual control can be anything from a simple dimmer switch right up to scene control or even remote management.
VISION CONNECT stand-alone lighting controls are simple and cost-effective solutions for smaller applications such as individual luminaires or rooms. Stand-alone solutions mean each lighting fixture has individual intelligence and is not necessarily connected to other control systems.
The focus is on using sensors to automate lighting and thus save energy.
VISION CONNECT gives more control to end-users than a series of lighting controls. Vision Connect is a wired lighting system, allowing end-users to select lighting “scenes”, set time of use requirements, and conduct emergency lighting testing and reporting, all from a central network point.
Vision Connect gives freedom to facility managers, controlling the lighting system itself. The luminaires share information with one another, in conjunction with occupancy sensors, allowing a complete, automated lighting system. However, the ease of use of Vision Connect allows facility managers to seamlessly take control, and harmonise the lighting to their requirements.
Sensor technology for automation
Our VISION CONNECT solutions use advanced sensor technology to automate lighting projects.
Depending on the sensor type, we use passive infrared measurement (PIR) or high-frequency electromagnetic waves (HF), for example. PIR technology is based on presence detection and is suitable for the automation of office lighting. HF sensors, on the other hand, detect motion. HF technology can be used even through plastic and glass in closed luminaires, making it ideal for warehouses or underground car parks.
Tuneable Lighting
The difference between cool white (5500K) and warm white (3000K) lighting colour temperature in a classroom can have a big influence to occupants.
Tunable white lighting ensures that a cooler lighting output is used in the morning to boost productivity, followed by a warmer output in the afternoon.
This reflects the natural daylight cycle, making staff and students feel more comfortable at their desks, enhancing performance and increasing wellbeing.
