Tamlite looks forward to CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2022

Tamlite Lighting has expressed their delight at being named headline sponsors of CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2022.

The awards, taking place on the 24th of February, recognise the people, products and projects that demonstrate engineering excellence. The CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2022 are the only industry awards that focus on actual, measured performance outcomes.

Entries were open to any organisation, both within the UK and internationally. These organisations are responsible for the design, commissioning, construction, installation and operation of low energy buildings. Also involved are the manufacturers whose products enable efficient energy consumption.

Darren Taylor, National Specification and Project Manager at Tamlite, said: "We are delighted to be the headline sponsor for the first time. On top of this, we continue with our support for Wellbeing. And of course, for the 3rd year in a row we are the category sponsor for product innovation – Wellbeing award. This remains hugely important.

"This fantastic event gives us a chance to come together to recognise and celebrate the great and good of the industry."

"This industry has shown a tremendous amount of resilience," Darren said. "It has adapted to what is, for many people, a completely new way of working. As a UK lighting manufacturer, we provide lighting solutions across the many different business sectors. As a result, we have seen a rise in demand for our services. This includes helping with pressures on the supply chain to adapting to changing end customer requirements. We've also seen the impact of the recently publishing TM66 and the building safety bill."

Tamlite wishes to extend congratulations to the shortlist nominees. Furthermore, they would like to wish everyone up for an award the very best of luck. They are looking forward to seeing the winners announced.
