Tamlite re-awarded the LIAQA accreditation
Tamlite Lighting, one of the UK’s largest privately-owned lighting companies, has been re-awarded the Lighting Industry Association’s Quality Assurance (LIAQA) accreditation.
The LIAQA scheme aims to ensure the market that suppliers of lighting and lighting related products have a system in place that fully addresses product compliance. This highly robust, industry-specific quality management system is regarded as a mark of confidence across the industry. The Company won the inaugural LIAQA award in 2017.
For customers, the LIAQA scheme helps to ensure best practice and provides reassurance that quality is a key component of the complete design and production process. Companies that achieve LIAQA renewal will have demonstrated that they have systems in place that fully address product compliance. The certification identifies the criteria for product acceptance, manufacturing process requirements, and the evidence that supports product conformity.
"We share the LIA's values of promoting excellence and best practice in the lighting industry."
John Allden, Managing Director at Tamlite Lighting, said: “Tamlite was a founding participant of the LIAQA scheme, and we have always been committed to its purpose. Maintaining extremely high standards within our manufacturing process is a core aspect of our culture at Tamlite – we see it as an essential part of our business practises.
“Such accreditation gives our customers confidence that our production processes have been independently verified and meet the high standards of Europe’s largest lighting trade association. We share the LIA’s values of promoting excellence and best practice in the lighting industry, and this achievement has demonstrated this.”
