Lighting for Emergency

Emergency lighting is an absolute must for communal areas. Exit routes for building occupants will involve them moving through communal spaces such as corridors and lobbies. It is crucial, therefore, that such spaces are fitted with high output emergency lighting luminaires, that illuminate the space to a minimum of 1 lux along the centre line. Occupants need to exit the space quickly and calmly, and emergency lighting provides enough illumination for communal spaces, even with a loss of mains power.
