Countdown to the The Academies Show 2017

Tamlite Lighting to exhibit at The Academies Show: showcasing the expertise and knowledge acquired through 50 years’ lighting experience.

Experts in a wide-range of industries advising and supplying educational Academies across England, will join forces at the NEC Birmingham for The Academies Show on 22nd November. Among those will be the lighting industry, represented by the expert team from Redditch’s Tamlite Lighting, on Stand B26 from 9am-4.30pm.

Tamlite Lighting has a wealth of experience and expertise in the sector, having consulted, designed and installed in schools and colleges across the UK; such as Patchway Community College near Bristol, and a group of four North Yorkshire County Council schools, including Ripon Cathedral School.
Colin Lawson, Tamlite’s Head of Sales, Marketing and Product Development said:

“As well as featuring our products specified for the education sector – Horizon Comfort, MODLED PRO LG, PRIMA and EXPO which is ideal for sports halls – we will be launching our new emergency product, EM SPOT.

“EM SPOT is our latest LED Batten self-contained emergency lighting product with a high lumen output. Easy to install with simple connection wiring, it enables virtually service-free emergency lighting suitable for open areas, such as corridors.

“In addition, our experts will be available to talk visitors through the process of engaging the services of a consultant or company specialising in energy-efficient lighting. Ensuring that the company possesses an encyclopaedic knowledge of currently available solutions is crucial for schools considering refurbishments or new projects.”

Properly specified, the latest generation of fluorescent and LED lighting systems can deliver long-term cost-savings that make a dramatic difference to a school’s overall energy bills. Therefore, as sustainability and energy-efficiency are among the priorities for schools seeking funding under schemes such as Salix Finance, Tamlite’s education team can advise on the right scheme for each project.
