LuxLive: Tamlite spreads light
UK lighting manufacturer Tamlite had a big stand at LuxLive, and was promoting its ‘Vision’, lighting control system – used in the Ericsson exhibition hall at the Coventry Ricoh Arena – where automatic dimming and presence detection can be managed via wired or wireless networks.
On the hardware side, it was showing some new in-office ceiling light panels: Axis has a central nanoprism optic for compliance with EN12464 and is available in versions up to 125 lm/W, while Horizon Focus stretches up to 154 lm/W. Both come in three intensities for different spacings across the ceiling, and both come with DALI, Tridonic Ready2Mains or emergency controls.
For outdoor use with low light pollution there is a asymmetric version of its IP65 Explorer flood light, and for warehouse and retail there is Rackline, continuous linear lighting up to 100m long, at up to 162 lm/W. Life is estimated at 50,000 hours.
