'Project of the Year' win at the Electrical Industry Awards 2018

Tamlite have won the Project of the Year – Lighting Award at the Electrical Industry Awards 2018, for the lighting installation at the new CEF IT building in Durham!

Named winner of the hotly contested category, Tamlite was shortlisted alongside a host of organisations committed to building unique projects that represent the future of the industry.

The CEF IT building was a unique and challenging project. It required Tamlite to develop a contemporary workplace solution which embodies and reflects CEF’s drive and commitment to innovation.

This is a huge honour for Tamlite, working in partnership with CEF and in recognition of the efforts of our Projects and Specification Team. The new building utilises the latest Tamlite office, residential and urban lighting solutions to create a holistic working environment for CEF employees.The prize was awarded at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London. It was collected by Andrew Bailey, Senior Specification and Projects Engineer who oversaw the lighting project, and Fred Hood, the main contractor with McNally and Thompson.
